Ilkley Walk Aug 2005

• Difficulty: moderate - a mix of urban and moor land
• Parking: Around the church / Shipley area

A break from the Dales for August. This walk actually starts from the church and will head out to Saltaire along the canal before climbing up to Shipley Glen, then through farmers fields and Ilkley Moor, before descending into Ilkley itself. Return journey will be via the train. There is a pub just before we begin to walk across the moor (about half way ish) where we will stop for lunch and liquid refreshment. In Ilkley there are several tea shops to choose from at the end of the walk.
